According to Forkast.News, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has collaborated with ConsenSys, the developer team of Ethereum, to launch a blockchain-based COVID-19 digital health passport.

The Passport platform is built on ConsenSys Quorum and Codefi Orchestrate, and uses blockchain technology to record patient-related COVID-19 events, including test results, temperature checks, and vaccinations.

The passport provides limited and consented health information while protecting personal data privacy. The ultimate goal is to provide a safe way to fully restart the economy after the pandemic.
