Mark Cuban, a billionaire investor and the owner of Dallas Mavericks, hopes to use NFT to increase revenue for his team.

He told the host Gary Vaynerchuk on the podcast that his team might issue NFT tickets next season, said: "We will start doing it this coming season, where we’ll issue an NFT after you’ve chosen your ticket on Ticketmaster or whatever."

Cuban believes that the plan will not only allow fans of the Mavericks team to buy and resell tickets, but it will also make it possible for the team to continue to earn royalties, thereby increasing the team's revenue.

Cuban is an active investor in the crypto and NFT space, he has made a strategic investment in CryptoSlam, an NFT data aggregation platform, and begun to develop an online gallery for NFT collectors so that investors can display their most appreciated and proud NFT works.
