The cryptocurrency exchange FTX announced that it has signed a five-year contract with Major League Baseball (MLB) to become its official partner. 

Starting from the MLB All-Star Game on July 13, the FTX brand will appear on all referee uniforms and continue into the playoffs. Fans will see the FTX brand promotion in TV, social media, and other high-impact baseball media broadcasted across the United States. 

MLB calls this partnership the first collaboration between a major professional sports league and a cryptocurrency exchange. 

Prior to this, FTX bought the naming rights of the Miami Heat's home stadium and the North American e-sports giant Team SoloMid (TSM) for $135 million, $210 million, respectively.
