According to a quarterly report filed to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Morgan Stanley's Europe Opportunity Fund holds 28,289 shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), valued at $1,325,339.
According to the document, as of June 25, the asset under management of the European Opportunity Fund was approximately 1.8 billion euros.
The banking giant allowed mutual funds to gain indirect exposure to Bitcoin in late March. Earlier this year, Morgan Stanley also opened up access to external crypto funds to provide its wealthy clients with Bitcoin exposure.
