A BSC-based yield aggregator Merlin Lab announced its termination after a hack.

The team said: "The reality we face is that hiring a new development team is a huge security risk for everyone, so we decided to officially terminate Merlin Lab".

At present, its official Twitter account has been canceled, and the MERL token price has almost dropped to zero.

About 6 hours ago, PeckShield sent a warning that Merlin Lab was hacked. This attack originated from a logical loophole in Merlin Strategy Alpaca BNB. The contract mistakenly used the WBNB transferred by the beneficiary as mining rewards, which caused the contract to be issued More $MERL as a reward. A total of $330,000 was stolen, bringing their total value loss to $1,560,000.
