The VeChain Foundation announced on Thursday that it has cooperated with DNV Assurance in the Republic of San Marino to launch a digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate, which will cover Covid-19 vaccination records, infection history, and test results.
The certificate is issued in paper or digital format by an organization authorized by the International Space Station or the San Marino Health Authority according to individual requirements.
The QR code in the certificate is realized in the form of an enterprise version of non-homogeneous tokens (eNFT), which is a digital asset based on the VeChainThor blockchain.
The design purpose of eNFT is to incorporate blockchain technology into people’s daily lives, as well as allow companies to combine physical products and digital ones.
