According to Coindesk, crypto mining company Greenidge Generation plans to expand its Bitcoin mining operations by adding a mining farm in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, which was originally a printing plant and will start mining later this year or early 2022.

The company stated that two-thirds of the site’s electricity comes from zero-carbon energy sources such as nuclear power.

Greenidge Generation is already operating in New York, and the company decides to set up a second mining center in South Carolina in the next few months.
