Fidelity Digital Assets Will Expand Team To Develop Ethereum-Related Products

Bloomberg reported on Monday that Fidelity Digital Assets, part of one of the world's largest financial services providers Fidelity Investments, plans to increase its number of employees by approximately 70% to meet the growing demand for crypto services by institutions. 

Tom Jessop, president of Fidelity Digital Assets, said the company plans to add about 100 employees in Dublin, Salt Lake City, and Boston. The team will study new products like Ethereum and expand to other cryptocurrencies. 

Jessop said: "We see people becoming more and more interested in Ethereum, so we want to stay ahead of this demand." 

Fidelity also hopes to provide trading service in more hours of the week. Jessop stated that Fidelity intends to "provide cryptocurrency transactions throughout the day for most of the week."
