According to the official announcement, the Polygon network is now available on the Coinbase Wallet mobile app and extension.
Coinbase wallet said its one-million customers are using decentralized financial applications (Dapp) such as Uniswap, Compound, and Aave, as well as NFT platforms such as OpenSea and Zora.
However, high transaction fees and long confirmation times may prohibit users with small trading volumes from participating in DeFi space. The new integration will provide faster and cheaper transactions and make it easier for users to access Dapps on Polygon.
Last year, Coinbase Wallet added support for Optimistic rollups, Coinbase said that more scaling solutions will be launched soon.
