In an interview with The Gentleman's Journal, Kelly Slater, American professional surfer and 11-time World Surfing Championship champion, revealed that he is considering launching his own cryptocurrency to track the value of his wood recycling company. 

Slater stated that his cryptocurrency will not satisfy people who just want to make money quickly overnight.

The surfing legend admitted that he is not a cryptocurrency expert. Prior to June, Slater stated that Elon Musk was "unfavorable" for cryptocurrencies.
