Nadine Chakar, State Street vice president and head of global marketing, said in an interview with The Scoop that State Street is working with customers to develop solutions to help customers deploy Bitcoin and other crypto assets.

Although the crypto market plummeted recently, market interest has not diminished, Chakar added: "I think we're still seeing a lot of people enthusiastically embracing digital in general, crypto in certain cases. And there's not a day that goes by that you don't see some large hedge fund or some large investor, you know, outlining their support for digital."

However, Chakar stated that State Street is not ready to enter the market through custodial services but focuses on the small-scale adjustment of their business models.

Chakar also mentioned that pension plans are an example of DeFi may not be able to implement like a traditional bank.
