According to a report from Documenting Bitcoin, an Amazon spokesperson commented in an email statement, denying CITY AM's report that it will accept Bitcoin this year, and also denying plans to launch a cryptocurrency in 2022, but said it will "continue to explore cryptocurrencies." 

According to the Bitpush data, after the news flowed out, Bitcoin fell below $38K in a short time.
