Coindesk posted that, according to two people familiar with the matter, UBS's brokerage arm has begun trialing cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETP) clearing and settlement services to Europe hedge funds.
One of the sources said that the bank is currently implementing an internal pilot program, which is planned to be widely launched later this year.
CoinDesk reported last week that Goldman Sachs and Bank of America are also providing clearing and settlement services for European hedge funds.
