Industry insiders predict that Santos may launch his own cryptocurrency fund. Another investor said that Santos' departure is a major loss for ParaFi, and his absence may hinder the company's ability to find high-quality deals.

During Santos' tenure, ParaFi invested in decentralized finance (DeFi) projects including Aave and The Graph. He is also a member of PleasrDAO, which has invested millions of dollars in Meme-based art projects.
