According to the latest DeFi report of the Ethereum software company ConsenSys, the top 20 decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) hold $6 billion worth of digital assets. 

The largest DAOs include decentralized finance (DeFi) projects such as Compound, Uniswap, Bankless, and public community-funded organizations such as Gitcoin. 

The report emphasized that the DAO flourished in the second quarter and represented a new type of coordination when dealing with financial decisions about raising or deploying funds.
