Tom Lee, the founder of securities research company Fundstrat Global Advisors and former chief equity strategist at JPMorgan Chase, said in an interview with CNBC that Bitcoin has issued a major buy signal.

Earlier Monday, Bitcoin exceeded $46K for the first time since May 17, l successfully broke through the 200-day moving average of $44,982 at that time.

Lee believes that this may be the best time to buy Bitcoin, said: "You always buy Bitcoin when it breaks above its 200-day moving average."

Lee claimed that Bitcoin has successfully fended off regulatory and legislative attacks from China and the United States, and his previous prediction that Bitcoin will reach $100K by the end of this year is "very reasonable".
