Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego confirmed in a tweet on Thursday that his bank Banco Azteca will soon accept Bitcoin.

As the founder and chairman of Grupo Salinas, Ricardo Salinas Pliego has an estimated net worth of $15.6 billion. Pliego also changed his Twitter profile to a Bitcoin laser eye to show his support for the largest cryptocurrency by market value.

As early as November last year, the billionaire revealed that he had converted 10% of his investment portfolio to Bitcoin.
