According to a report from CNBC, after TikTok revised its platform rules to prohibit the promotion of cryptocurrency in July, influencers who often publish crypto content are looking for alternatives.

The new function launched by TikTok can automatically delete content that violates the community guidelines. Many KOLs have expressed their opposition to the new rules. One of the influencers, Lucas Dimos, said: "We’re dying out here. We’re floundering. We’ve tried to build a community and guide this whole movement in the right direction."

Others said that although TikTok may be intended to block fraudulent posts, they are unable to post any content, many of them will consider turning to Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Discord if this situation continues.

Tik Tok, which thrived during the meme coin mania by attracting a large number of creators, updated its rules in July to completely prohibit the promotion of financial services including cryptocurrencies.
