Ringers #879, created by artist Dmitri Cherniak and minted on the NFT platform Art Blocks seven months ago, has been sold through OpenSea's secondary market for 1800 ETH (approximately $5.8 million currently), which make it the most expensive art building block on the market, as well as the most expensive NFT on the Art Blocks platform.

The buyer came from Three Arrows Capital, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency investment company. This company collected a large number of Art Blocks NFTs this year, and this latest purchase seems to be its largest investment in NFTs.
