Sotheby’s Auction House announced that it will sell 101 Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFT series created by Yuga Labs at the auction from September 2 to 9, and also auction 101 Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) NFT.
Sotheby's estimates that BAYC's auction total will reach $12 to $18 million, while BAKC's auction will reach $1.5 to $2 million.
The winner of the auction will also receive six "mutant serums" that can be used to generate a new mutant ape NFT from an existing bored ape.
According to the data from rarity.tools, Bored Apes is the second most popular NFT collection after CryptoPunks based on the total transaction volume (136,107 ETH). The floor price of Bored Ape on the open market has reached 48.8 ETH at the time of writing.
