Due to the sharp decline in the crypto market, some crypto exchanges serving the U.S. market experienced operational failures on Tuesday.
Coinbase, the largest exchange in the U.S., displayed a "degraded performance" tip at the top of its website.
Kraken reported on its status page that there were some problems with the network connection and email transmission. Login, transaction, and financing operations were intermittently unavailable when solving the connection problem.
Gemini, another platform also entered a comprehensive maintenance mode to "solve problems affecting platform performance."
According to subsequent updates, these trading platforms have resumed normal operations.
