Robinhood, the popular stock and crypto investment platform, announced that it will launch a national event in the United States to encourage American college students to start their investment journey.

College students will get a $15 investment fund through a promotional link and register an account with .edu email, they need to link a bank account between September 15 and October 24. 

In addition, Robinhood will give away $20,000 to five students who sign up for the financial journey. Beginning this fall, Robinhood executives will travel to HBCUs and community colleges across the United States to hold dialogues with local financial experts and thought leaders. 

Robinhood stated that there are approximately 3.8 million Robinhood account holders identified as students, who usually start at $25. AAPL, TSLA and MSFT are the most frequently invested stocks by college students.
