The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that it has postponed the resolution of four Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETF) proposals: Global X, WisdomTree, Kryptoin and Valkyrie.

The new deadlines for the SEC to make resolutions are November 21 (Global X), December 8 (Valkyrie), December 11 (WisdomTree), and December 24 (Kryptoin).

Among them, Valkyrie's "XBTO Bitcoin Futures Fund" is the only ETF linked to Bitcoin futures, not Bitcoin itself.

SEC Chairman Gary Gensler has repeatedly stated that Bitcoin futures ETFs may be more likely to receive regulatory approval than ETFs that invest in spot Bitcoin.
