During an official interview released by the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), BMV CEO José-Oriol Bosch said that they are considering listing crypto futures on derivatives exchange, the exchange has conducted analysis and discussions with financial regulators. Bosch mentioned that the financial authorities are still worried about a mania similar to the dot-com bubble.

According to a report by the Mexican newspaper El Economista, on September 30, Bosch stated on a forum that BMV was seeking authorization to list cryptocurrency futures on its derivatives exchange and was attempting to list virtual asset ETFs on its international quotation system (SIC), a platform for trading foreign securities.
