A slide deck obtained by CoinDesk shows that Paradigm, a crypto venture capital firm led by Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam, is seeking to raise $1.5 billion in financing to invest in start-ups. 

The document stated the fund may be between $1.25 billion and $1.5 billion and also mentioned a 1% minimum general partner commitment. A source said that Paradigm has been active in some family offices in Silicon Valley recently, and the fundraising may end on November 12. 

A recent report by Bank of America showed that venture capital firms have invested $17 billion in crypto companies in the first half of 2021, compared with $5.5 billion in the same period last year.
