According to a new recruitment announcement, Reddit, the well-known social news aggregation headquartered in San Francisco, is preparing to build an NFT platform.
This company is looking for a senior backend engineer, who needs to have five years of back-end development experience and the ability to design complex distributed systems.
This position will be responsible for building services that will enable "millions" of users to mint and trade NFTs.The announcement wrote: "Our team is a new and exciting, rapidly growing team that aims to build the largest creator economy on the internet, powered by independent creators, digital goods, and NFTs."
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian is a big fan of Ethereum and NFT. He once showed the CryptoPunks NFT he bought for his wife Serena Williams at the 2021 Met Gala.
