According to an exclusive report by Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. will release NFTs inspired by the Matrix series and the upcoming movie The Matrix Resurrections.
Through cooperation with the social NFT platform Nifty's, starting from November 30th, Warner will launch 100,000 Matrix-themed avatars with a special "Red Pill" function. The retail price of the avatar is $50 each.
Similar to the classic plot in the movie, all NFT buyers can choose to take the "blue pill", keep their NFT avatar in the Matrix, or choose the "red pill" to escape. There will be other challenges and options in the future, such as upgrading an avatar or acquiring a new NFT.
Warner has previously partnered with Nifty's to develop a Space Jam digital collection.
