According to an announcement, The U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee will hold a hearing titled "Demystifying CryptoDigital Assets and the Role of Government" at 2:30 PM Eastern Time on November 17th, aiming to clarify the role of the government in the context of digital assets.

The chairman of the committee and Congressman Don Beyer (D-VA) will preside over the hearing.

Crypto regulation became the focus of Congress recently, officials debated the taxing requirements to crypto developers, trading validators, and node operators in the current infrastructure bill. However, the bill has been passed in the House of Representatives and the Senate without additional clarification on crypto brokers. It is expected that President Biden will sign the bill into law on November 15.
