Cryptocurrency derivatives exchange Bybit announced that it will provide approximately $85.8 million in donations (in the form of ETH, USDT and USDC) to the treasury of BitDAO, a decentralized autonomous organization.
The amount is equivalent to 0.025% of Bybit futures trading volume from October 1st to October 31st. The exchange also promised to make regular donations.
BitDAO aims to support the builders of the decentralized economy. It is an open platform for proposals voted by BIT token holders and has nothing to do with chains and projects. Anyone can propose partnerships and protocol upgrades for BitDAO, and BIT token holders will vote to approve or reject these proposals.
