Premise, the crowdsourcing research company released a survey report related to global perceptions of blockchain technology today. 

The survey was conducted on August 30, with approximately 11,000 participants in 76 countries/regions. The results show that 41% of the respondents believe that BTC is more trustworthy than local fiat currencies. 33% of the respondents believe that BTC is more secure than fiat ones because of the decentralized nature of the blockchain. 26% of the respondents said they prefer to use BTC instead of local currency. 

According to the report, more than 1.7 billion adults in the world do not have a bank account, and using Bitcoin for transactions allows people who cannot access traditional banking services to participate in all economies.
