Game7, a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) aiming to accelerate the development of the blockchain game industry through grants, education, and strategic measures, has officially launched today, as first reported by Cointelegraph.

The new DAO is a collective of the game space and technology veterans, saw supports from BitDAO, Forte, Alameda Research, Mirana Ventures, Warner Music Group, Aleo, Avalanche, Interchain Foundation, Offchain Labs, OP Games, Polygon Studios, and Solana Ventures.

Game7 also announced that it will establish a $100 million grant program and a $400 million strategic fund, thereby accelerating the adoption of blockchain technology in the gaming industry.

BitDAO, which aims to support builders of the decentralized economy, is the biggest supporter of Game7, it pledged to donate $400 million in cryptocurrency, which will be allocated within five years. Besides, the blockchain game platform Forte will invest $100 million in fiat and cryptocurrency.
