The foreign minister of Sweden has called for the Ukraine to act following the exposure of an alleged cryptocurrency scam that duped naive investors from the country's capital.

The so-called "fraud factory," which operates in Kyiv, was uncovered after an investigation by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter (DN) published Monday.

The Milton Group, the alleged fraud operation, has employed ranks of telemarketers for cold-calling potential investors, often older people, and offering enticing returns on money put into stocks and cryptocurrencies.
