The term "crypto" has been mentioned more than 6.6 million times throughout the website. In addition, Redditors are more interested in Dogecoin than Bitcoin. The five most popular crypto sub-sections are r/dogecoin, r/superstonk, r/cryptocurrency, r/amcstock, and r/bitcoin.
The most voted crypto posts on Reddit this year are about DOGE, Tesla's purchase of Bitcoin, and crypto survivor deviations.
Reddit is said to have over 100,000 active communities worldwide. Community members posted 366 million posts in 2021, an increase of 19% year-on-year; as of November 9, 2021, there were 2.3 billion comments on the site, an increase of 12 % year-on-year, the total number of likes was 46 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1%.
