Simplify Asset Management Files With SEC To Launch Web3-Related ETF

Simplify Asset Management has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a web3-related exchange-traded fund (ETF), called the “Simplify Volt Web3 ETF,” which aims to track the potential Web3 companies and may include metaverse companies, per FORM N-1A shows. 

If approved, the actively managed ETF will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "WIII."

The fund, managed by Simplify Asset Management CEO and co-founder Paul Kim and CIO David Berns, does not invest directly in cryptocurrencies but invest up to 10% of its total assets in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust.
