Omni Core, a portable Omni layer implementation based on the Bitcoin Core codebase, has launched version 0.8.0 in order to fix a bug that triggered some transactions to occur twice.

According to an official blog post on Thursday, the bug first came about from a 2019 update of Omni Core 0.6 and affects all 0.6 and higher versions. Because of this bug, the system would credit and debit the same tokens more than once and resulted in some accounts having total balances higher or lower than what they should have been.
