Crypto venture capital firm Dragonfly Capital Partners is raising $500 million for a new fund called Dragonfly Ventures III Feeder, according to a new regulatory filing.
The new fund, which has yet to accept its first investment, is expected to be open for no more than a year.
Founded in 2018, Dragonfly Capital is a cross-border cryptoasset investment firm that has raised over $300 million through two funds. Dragonfly's portfolio includes 1inch Network, Avalanche, crypto exchange Bybit, and blockchain interoperability project Cosmos. The venture capital firm recently participated in a $150 million funding round for Near Blockchain.
