WisdomTree's Crypto assets under management (AUM) in the fourth quarter of 2021 surged fivefold to $406 million from $79 million, the Q4 financial report shows.
At the end of 2021, WisdomTree had $357 million in crypto assets, up 21% from the beginning of the quarter, the total AUM was $77.5 billion, up 6.5%.
In December 2021, WisdomTree launched four diversified crypto investment products: US RWM WisdomTree Crypto Index, and three European crypto-asset basket ETPs: WisdomTree Crypto Mega Cap Equal Weight (MEGA), WisdomTree Crypto Market (BLOC) and WisdomTree Crypto Altcoins (WALT), the company was named "ETF Provider of the Year" by the 2021 Funds Europe Awards.
WisdomTree’s Bitcoin spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) application was rejected by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in past December.
