Pixel Vault, announced that it has raised $100 million in funding from venture capital firms Velvet Sea Ventures and 01A.

The decentralized crypto media group intends to use this funding to launch a multi-franchise, non-fungible token platform that will allow individuals to own unique digital content: movies, television shows, comics, video games, etc.

Imagine owning your favorite episode or Naruto, or having exclusive ownership of a new manga edition that just came out. The possibilities could be endless.

Pixel Vault is the creator of PUNKS Comics, an NFT project that gives token holders access to web comics. The first issue was about Beanie, a fictional crypto influencer. The second issue was a collaboration with Bored Ape Yacht Club, featuring eight Elite Apes fighting a bad person to win a reward.

Pixel Vault has raised over 100,000 ETH since the inception of their tokenized comics in May, 2021, according to a press release. They currently have partnerships with Fractional.art, and the famous sportswear brand Adidas Originals.
