Twitter Tipping Feature Adds Support for Ethereum Wallets

Twitter announced Wednesday that its mobile users are able to add Ethereum addresses to a list of potential tippers. Last month, the company rolled out NFT profile verification for paid subscribers of "Twitter Blue".

A Twitter spokesperson told CoinDesk that Ethereum wallets are available to all users who agree to the company's tipping policy, but the new feature doesn't yet support ENS domains. As of press time, it is unclear whether tipping using ERC-20 tokens and stablecoins (not just ETH, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain) is supported.
