Du Jun, the co-founder of the top crypto exchange Huobi, said in an interview with CNBC that if past price cycles are used as a reference, the crypto market is currently in the early stages of a bear market, Bitcoin’s next bull market may not come until the end of 2024 or early 2025.

he said: “It is really hard to predict exactly because there are so many other factors which can affect the market as well — such as geopolitical issues including war, or recent Covid, also affect the market."

Bitcoin has struggled since early February, falling below the $40,000 support level again. BTC is down nearly 40% from its all-time high in November last year and is now trading at $37,853, according to Bitpush Terminal data.
