According to TechCrunch, Hack VC, the organizer of hack.summit(), the world’s largest programming competition for developers, launched a $200 million crypto seed fund last fall.
Backers include a range of prominent VCs, including Sequoia Capital, Fidelity, a16z's Marc Andreessen and Chris Dixon, among others.
To date, the fund has made at least 15 investments worth tens of millions of dollars, including Yat, Goldfinch Finance, SynCity, and more.
Fund partner Alex Pack said Hack VC is also seeding more than a dozen crypto funds, including Multicoin, Polychain, Paradigm, Standard, and Parafi.
