According to blockchain analysis firm Elliptic, Come Back Alive, a Kiev foundation supporting the Ukrainian military, has received around $400,000 in bitcoin donations in a single day following Russia’s airstrikes in Ukraine.

As of 5:30 a.m. ET Friday, the group's wallet had received 109 BTC (about $4.1 million) from more than 1,000 donations.

Founded in 2014, Come Back Alive became one of the largest NGOs in the country, it mainly conducts fundraising activities to provide the Ukrainian military with necessary supplies and equipment. The foundation began accepting Bitcoin donations through Patreon membership in 2018.
