Goldman Sachs Offers Clients ETH Fund Issued by Galaxy Digital

Goldman Sachs is offering the Galaxy Institutional Ethereum Fund, an Ethereum (ETH) fund issued by crypto investment firm Galaxy Digital, to interested clients, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Tuesday. 

Sources confirmed to CoinDesk that Goldman Sachs is the Galaxy Fund’s sales branch, receiving a portion of the introduction fee. The fund, which has a minimum investment of $250,000, has sold more than $50 million to 28 clients, the filing showed. 

This is not the first collaboration between the two. The bank giant began trading Bitcoin futures with Galaxy Digital last year and Galaxy acts as Goldman’s liquidity provider.
