A vulnerability has been found in Intel’s Software Guard eXtensions (SGX) which can potentially allow passwords, encrypted keys, and other sensitive data to be siphoned from a computer’s memory.

On Tuesday, computer researcher Daniel Gruss posted a video to YouTube showing how a proof-of-concept attack, called a “Load Value Injection [LVI],” can be utilized to steal sensitive data from Intel SGXs.
