Batman is coming to NFTs.
Comic book giant DC Comics and Palm NFT Studio announced that they will release the Batman-themed NFT series "Bat Cowl Collection" on April 26.
A total of 200,000 NFTs will be included, each of which will be unique, inspired by the 83-year-old Batman comics, and will be a combination of colors, styles, and mask images, priced at $300 each.
Bat Cowl NFTs will be minted on Palm, an Ethereum sidechain scaling solution that makes transactions faster, cheaper and more energy-efficient than Ethereum. Bat Cowl NFT holders will have access to a private fan forum on the DC Universe website, as well as access to fan events, physical collectibles, exclusive merchandise and behind-the-scenes content.
Additionally, DC plans to expand support with features such as "metaverse integration" and augmented reality experiences, more details have yet to be announced.
