The Telos Foundation, the organization which is behind smart contract platform Telos (TLOS), has removed a board member following a recent security controversy.

According to a blog posted on Sunday, the foundation declared that it had made “appropriate adjustments to its board and various board member responsibilities” due to recent controversial developments, as it “holds network security in the highest regards.”

One board member, Daniel Uzcátegui, was removed from the foundation’s board as of March 11th. Another board member, board as of March 11th, will stay on the board but is no longer able to engage in block production or node operation on Telos.
