The European Commission is now accepting proposals for future-oriented defense solutions including innovative blockchain concepts.

On March 24, the European Commission issued a European Defense Industrial Development Programme (EDIDP) tender, which contains a list of 42 topics, that calls for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) to offer up solutions that will drive innovation and adapt technologies for civil and defense purposes.

The program is looking for proposals relating to "infrastructure, based on real-time cloud and on-premise digital twin benefiting from blockchain technologies’ robustness."
