California-based cryptocurrency mining company Digital Farms has put its operations on hold because of the recent decline in bitcoin's (BTC) price.

According to a March 18 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Digital Farms’ parent company, investment firm DPW Holdings, will be suspending the mining business indefinitely due to a “sharp decline in the market price for bitcoin.”
