The adoption of Russia’s major cryptocurrency law is facing yet another delay, now due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The bill “On Digital Financial Assets,” which has been repeatedly delayed due to disagreements between the central bank and the State Duma, is finalized but won’t be adopted until at least the end of spring 2020 due to the coronavirus, according to the chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Financial Markets, Anatoly Aksakov.
