Binance, the biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, has acquired one of the most-referenced crypto data websites, CoinMarketCap, for a currently undisclosed amount.

In an official announcement On Cointelegraph today, Binance founder and CEO, Changpeng (CZ) Zhao, said that Binance and CMC have a lot in common, since they both provide “access-to-crypto” and have a similar vision of making cryptocurrency assets more accessible and useful for people around the world.
